Hotel & General Information

How far is the hotel from the ski lifts, the railway station and the ski bus stop?

The Galzigbahn is just 100 metres away, whilst the Rendlbahn is a mere 10 metres from the hotel. The ski bus stop is right on the doorstep (approx. 20 metres away), and the railway station is about 450 metres away on foot.

Are there parking spaces available right next to the building, or charging points for electric cars?

We offer parking spaces in our on-site car park, which is located around 100 metres from the hotel. Unfortunately, charging points for electric cars are not yet available.

How does the luggage storage and changing facilities work if you arrive early or after check-out?

In such cases, a separate room is available for you to store your luggage, where you can also get changed. However, there are no shower facilities there.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Der Check-in ist ab 15:00 Uhr möglich – eine frühere Anreise können wir in manchen Fällen ermöglichen, aber leider nicht garantieren. Der Check-out erfolgt bis 10:00 Uhr.

Is there a ski room with a ski boot dryer in the building?

Yes, a ski storage room with a ski boot dryer is available for your use and is included in the room rate.

Where’s the best place to hire my downhill and cross-country skiing equipment?

You can hire ski equipment directly from Intersport at the Rendlbahn. We are happy to provide cross-country skiing equipment directly through us.

Can I buy a ski pass directly at the hotel?

The ski pass is not available directly from the hotel, but the ticket office is located right outside the building.

What are the benefits of booking directly via the website?

When you book directly via our website, you’ll benefit from our best price guarantee.

Until when can I cancel free of charge, and how much is the deposit?

Cancellation is free of charge up to 60 days before arrival. The deposit is usually 70 per cent and may vary depending on the season.

What happens if I arrive late or leave early, and can the deposit be converted into a voucher?

Arriving late is not a problem – please just let us know in good time. In the event of early departure, you will still be required to pay for the nights booked. It is generally not possible to convert the deposit into a voucher; however, we assess each reason for cancellation on a case-by-case basis and are willing to be accommodating in cases of force majeure, for example by carrying the deposit over to the following year.

Is breakfast included in the room rate, is there a bread roll service, and can breakfast be booked as an optional extra?

We offer two rates – with and without breakfast – and you can choose whichever suits you best. For apartments, we also offer a bread roll service: orders placed by 8.00 pm the previous day will be left outside your door by 7.30 am the following morning. Breakfast can also be booked on a daily basis.

Is there a spa or a sauna where you can relax after a day’s skiing?

We do not have a wellness area open to the general public. However, some of our apartments do have their own sauna or infrared cabin.

What winter activities are available in the region apart from traditional skiing?

The region offers a wide range of other winter activities, such as snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ice skating, tobogganing and winter walks.

Are pets or dogs allowed during the winter season?

No, unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets during the winter season.

What are the rules regarding quiet hours and groups having parties?

We are members of Quality Hosts Arlberg and place great importance on treating one another with respect. As a family-run business, we ask our guests to observe quiet hours in the house from 10.00 pm. Excessive partying in the house will not be tolerated.

Cross-Country Skiing & Winter Sports

How far is the trailhead from the house?

There are two cross-country ski trails in the immediate vicinity of St. Anton: one is about 700 meters away, and the other is about 1 km from the house.

Can cross-country skiing and telemark skiing lessons be reserved online in advance?

Yes, you can easily make a reservation in advance by emailing us.

Does the in-house ski school also offer courses for complete beginners as well as private lessons?

We offer only private lessons—for all skill levels, whether beginner or advanced, in both classical and skating styles.

As well as cross-country skiing courses, are there also courses in Telemark skiing or guided snowshoe walks on offer?

Yes, we offer both – generally on a one-to-one basis, but we’re also happy to organise individual sessions for families or larger groups.

Are the courses held both in St. Anton and at other locations in the Arlberg region?

Yes, as well as in St. Anton, we also offer our courses in Lech and St. Christoph.

What equipment can be hired for cross-country skiing?

You can hire both skating and classic skiing equipment from us – including skin and scale skis, boots and poles.

Is there anywhere in the building where you can wax your skis?

You can have your skis professionally waxed by experts right there in the Intersport shop. However, there is no dedicated workshop where you can wax your own skis.

Are there any special package deals combining accommodation, a sports breakfast and classes?

We have deliberately chosen not to offer fixed package deals, as we want to give you the freedom to tailor your holiday to suit you best.

Is there a facility for washing and drying wet sportswear and technical clothing?

Yes, we offer a laundry service and will take care of your laundry within 24 hours.

Is use of the cross-country ski trails in St. Anton am Arlberg free of charge for hotel guests?

Yes, the cross-country ski trails can be used free of charge by all visitors to the region.
